Design
At S & R, we understand that every new design must not only be aesthetically pleasing, but also functional for everyday use. That is why we personalize every design to meet the job specifications, preferences, and budget of our contractor clients. After an initial concept is developed, we provide 3-D renderings and a submittal package to clearly illustrate your ideas. Throughout the design process, great attention to detail is given to accomplish your business requirements and ensure your satisfaction.
Fabrication
Using state-of-the-art software and accurate CNC machining, we can design cabinets or parts of any shape or configuration, meeting the highest standards in the woodworking industry. On the other end of the spectrum, in the line of detail work, you will find excellent manual craftsmanship. Cabinet parts are doweled and glued, a cabinet-assembly method approved by the Architectural Woodworking Institute (AWI). Doors feature our carefully grain-matched smooth-front doors or high-quality 5-piece Doors from California Door™.
Assembly
Cabinet assembly is performed locally here in Tucson in our fully equipped shop. Computer-controlled machines used in the fabrication/assembly process insure accuracy and efficiency. Our assembly line uses a press guaranteeing the strength and durability of our cabinets. At each step, our skilled craftsmen pay careful attention to all the details required to make for a total quality result. We use industry-leading hardware components from suppliers such as Blum. Cabinetry typically uses concealed, soft/self-closing Blum™ hinges for doors and self-closing under-mount Blum™ drawer slides.
Finishing
We offer a large selection of wood products, from solid wood, to wood veneers & high-end engineered products, ranging from the most common such as Alder, Birch & Cherry to the Exotics. Additionally, you can choose from a large selection of finishing stains from our customized palette. In case you can't find one exactly like you want it, we’ll make one just for you. All of our finishing materials, including paint, are of the best quality whether they be conventional or eco-friendly.
Installation
At S & R we understand that one of the key elements to make your project a more pleasant experience is time management. That is why we have committed ourselves to continually develop systems of inventory control & management that allows us to deliver & install our cabinets on time. Our local installation personnel are careful to protect customer property when installing cabinets. Any on-site issues will be addressed in a timely and professional manner.
